Recurring Cast (WIP)
Danny Fenton, the secret identity of Danny Phantom
Danny likes to sleep in, stay up, play aerospace simulators, and NOT get embarrassed by his super-weird, ghost-obsessed parents. On top of all that, he's been the superhero Danny Phantom ever since a mysterious ghost-hunting accident last year. He's moody, awkward, and only getting a C- in physics, but at least he's read enough comics to know what a superhero is supposed to be... then again, using these powers for his own gain is tempting. Of course, nobody except his closest friends can know about said powers. The last thing Danny needs is his parents strapping him under a microscope.

Tucker Foley, Geekmaster 5000, and Sam Manson, The Creepy Goth Girl
Sam and Tucker are Danny's best-- er, only-- friends. The trio tells each other everything; these two were the first (and only) Danny told about his new superpowers, and they both have... conflicting suggestions on how he should use them. Sam insists Danny use his abilities for the greater good, even at the expense of his own health, all the while championing animal rights and vandalizing private property. Tucker would rather Danny stay out of conflict, sit down, and focus on beating the next level of DOOMED with him-- ghosts are absolutely terrifying, and not without reason! The two have their flaws, but when push comes to shove they'll always put off the argument-of-the-day to help Danny when he needs it.

Jack and Maddie Fenton, Ghost Experts Extraordinaire
These lovebirds have three PhDs in Ectology between them, even though they could've embarrassed Danny with just one. As Jack will tell you (without any prompting), his wife is "the most beautiful, kick-ass, intelligent, caring woman in any dimension." They moved to Amity Park after graduation to study the overabundance of ghostly activity. Regrettably, they didn't have a college class on parenting; the two fluctuate wildly between smothering Danny and not knowing which town he's in. Still, they love their completely human son almost as much as they hate ghosts. |
Jasmine "Jazz" Fenton, Future Valedictorian
Luckily for Danny, despite his parents' woeful incompetence, there's another adult figure willing to meddle and overpolice his life in the name of giving him a good childhood-- his sister. She's decided to push her baby brother into having the most normal childhood imaginable. Dad's homeschool "how to fight off a ghost takeover" class is totally unnecessary; ghosts aren't even real. Jazz means well, of course, but she sets incredibly high expectations. Not everyone can pull off a 4.0 GPA, collect awards for classical pianism, and still make it to tennis finals, even with a color-coordinated schedule. |
Valerie Gray, aka The Red Huntress, and Cujo the Ghost-Dog
Val has been fighting ghosts in Amity Park for a couple years now, ever since a ghost attack led to Cujo's own ghostification. Her equipment is homemade, her dad will definitely ground her for life if he finds out, and worst of all, this new "Phantom" character is trying to steal her spotlight. Val doesn't trust this so-called "hero ghost" as far as she can throw him (which, to be fair, might be pretty far)-- Amity Park already has a superhero, and it's her.

Vladimir "Plasmius" Masters, the other Half-Ghost
Danny's only heard horror stories of Plasmius, whispered under his parents' breath or alluded to to keep him out of trouble. Apparently, his dad used to have a college roommate who seemed normal... until a lab accident revealed him for who he really was. Plasmius is a ghost with the uncanny ability to disguise himself as a normal human, infiltrating any defenses necessary to steal secrets and potentially take lives. It's a shame what happened to Vladdy, as Jack and Maddie will both admit, but there's no such thing as a good ghost.
Turned bitter by the rejection of his so-called "friends" just because of an accident in his youth, Vlad has resorted to living up to all the evil a ghost is expected to be. When he discovers Danny's secret, he knows deep down that Danny is just as tormented and hurt as he is-- but ousting Jack's only son as a "traitorous ghost" would be exactly the kind of ruthless revenge a monster would pull. Still, late at night, he works in his haunted mansion's basement... there could be a cure for him yet, and then maybe everything could go back to normal.

Humans
Star Quarterback Maximillian Dashiel "Dash" Baxter
Dash's dad may have just moved him to this loser town with their loser high school, but that doesn't mean he's not about to become the most popular jock around. He has to. It's the only way that his dad might notice he even exists-- well, one of the only ways, but Dash won't be caught dead performing in some girly musical, no matter how much he wants to. A-Listers Paulina Sanchez and Kwan Huang
Before Dash showed up, they were the most popular kids in school, and ruled-- well, maybe not benevolently, but at least less as bullies. Mr Lancer, English Lit Teacher
Lancer can appear cruel and capricious to unsuspecting new students, but he's got a soft spot for kids he knows are going through a rough time. White Walkers
A secret government organization that deals with ghosts and ghost attacks. Far less morality, and far more threatening, than the Fentons. |
